Carpenters/Builders: We are always looking for people to assist with the building of the sets for our productions as well as with the general upkeep of our facility.
Clerical Workers: We currently have a group who volunteers weekly to help with clerical projects. If you are interested in helping with these tasks please contact us.
Seamstress: We are always looking for knowledgeable people to help maintain our costumes, adapt current costumes, and build new costumes among other projects.

Additional 2010 Opportunities:
Hang Posters and give out brochures ~ for upcoming shows, we always welcome help promoting Majestic productions. We have posters, flyers and our season brochure that we are happy to pass on to you for distribution in the community. If you have or know a business willing to display a poster stop by the office to pick them up.
Set Building Help ~ can you do basic carpentry or paint? We need help for our upcoming shows– contact us so we can provide you with dates and times.
Auction Help ~ (Majestic’s Annual Fundraiser, Friday, Oct 15th)It’s never too early to get started on this fun event! Help us solicit donated items and services for this annual fundraiser. Items must be in excellent condition – it’s an auction not a yard sale. We also need help with decorations and displays to create a festive event.Help on Thursday Oct 14th to set up displays etc. Help on Friday, Oct 15th to set up, with registration, and after the auction to clean up and move chairs back in order for the next show! Usher at non-dinner productions ~ During May – December 2010 we will need ushers to help greet patrons take tickets among other activities during performances. Contact us to be added to our usher email list. Special Skills ~ Do you have a special skill such as set painting/dressing, sewing, running sound and lights, photography, etc? These skills are a great asset to The Majestic, please contact us for more information. JOIN A COMMITTEE: We want your INPUT!
The Majestic Theatre invites you to be part of the following committees with the missions and goals to make The Majestic the very best it can be. We are looking for a 1 year commitment which will include approximately 6 meetings and possible tasks in between meetings. Your involvement will be a great help to The Majestic community and we think you’ll have fun in the process! Below is a short description of each committee and the name of the chairperson; each committee is open to anyone, and we would love to have you join us!
Finance Committee
The Finance Committee will assess and strengthen the financial health of the organization. Tasks include reviewing budgets, helping to report Majestic finances to patrons, the community, and our business supporters. Assess current systems and suggest improvements and analyze cash flow as it impacts income and expense.
Fund Development Committee
The Fund Development Committee will support and grow the ongoing fundraising activity of The Majestic. Tasks include helping to create and improve the annual fund development plan, assist with annual auction event, and look at ways to connect The Majestic with new donors, local businesses and corporations. This does not mean asking for money it’s more about creating strategies and leads to increased support and resources.
Building Committee
The Building Committee will look at and maintain the needs of the current facility. They will also determine what we will need in a new facility. Tasks may include helping with improvements to the theatre and assisting with sets and building projects.
Public Relations and Marketing Committee The Public Relations and Marketing Committee will work to improve The Majestic’s visibility and build audiences for shows and events. Tasks may include building relationships with media contacts, creating strategies to market shows and events to diverse groups. Assess current public relations practices to improve and develop further using the resources we have or can easily get.
Volunteer Committee
The Volunteer Committee will oversee and support the volunteer needs of The Majestic. Tasks include developing ways to increase volunteer support. Let volunteers know about opportunities here at The Majestic. Improve volunteer communication and appreciation. Assist with appreciation events.
Artist Committee
The Artist Committee will represent and support the needs of Majestic directors, actors and production support members. Tasks include surveying participants as to their concerns and needs and promoting acting and directing opportunities. The goal is to improve the experiences of artists involved in Majestic productions. If you are interested in joining a committee we would love to have you!
