Fables and Fairy Tales have been handed down, by word of mouth, from generation to generation and from place to place. In them we can find traces of very old traditions and beliefs, and they offer you emotion and amusement, together with the richness of important meanings, or what we call ‘lessons learned’ or ‘the moral of the story’. Alongside the regular camp classes (dance, acting, and music), students in this camp will have fun learning about classic fables and fairytales, experience dance styles and music from different cultures, and create their own fables to re-enact through the use of animals and magical objects. Based on Aesop’s unforgettable fables, the camp’s production “Bebop with Aesop” dramatizes the many lessons and values that we can learn from stories and tales through music with a fun and hip feel!

The tale of ‘Cinderella’ has many variations across generations and around the world. Not only will students in this camp rehearse and perform a version of this classic tale entitled “Once Upon a Dream: Cinderella Classic Story”, they will also have the opportunity to be introduced to many variations and adaptations of this story, some dating back to 2000 years ago! Alongside the daily classes in acting, music and movement, this theatre intensive camp will give students the opportunity to work on set/costume design, blocking and choreography, while also being a participant in the final performance! Come and join us as we explore this tale as old as time, ‘Cinderella’!

Majestic Camps are unique in that we have a staff member working closely with our camp instructors to create a curriculum with detailed lesson plans for each camp that's both educational and fun for the students!

The Majestic Academy of Dramatic Arts theatre camps run daily, Monday thru Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00pm (1/2 day program runs 9:00am-12:30pm). Each camp culminates in a show created by the students for family and friends. The daily schedule includes classes which aim to build skills in acting, movement, improvisation, music, and cooperative abilities. Students will learn all aspects of theatre in this hands-on learning opportunity.

½ DAY PROGRAM CLASSES- Our youngest students will participate in many fun activities including: theatre games, creative movement, music theory and singing, arts and crafts, and much more!

The Majestic fosters a close student-teacher relationship that helps us meet the needs of every young artist. Our goal is to tailor the experience for every child, to ensure that they are given the attention and interaction they need to be successful, while having a GREAT time learning about theatre arts.
