SUMMARY:John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men
DESCRIPTION:By John Steinbeck / Two drifters\, George and his friend Lennie\, with delusions of living off the “fat of the land\,” have just arrived at a ranch to work for enough money to buy their own place. Lennie is a little boy in the body of a dangerously powerful man. Lennie’s obsessions with things soft and cuddly have made George cautious about with whom the gentle giant\, with his brute strength\, associates. His promise to allow Lennie to “tend to the rabbits” on their future land keeps Lennie calm\, as the two men work towards their dream. But when a ranch boss’s promiscuous wife is found dead in the barn with a broken neck\, George knows that Lennie killed her. Now worried about his own safety\, George finds Lennie in his favorite hiding spot. Realizing they can no longer run away\, George is faced with a moral question: How should he deal with Lennie before the ranchers find him and take matters into their own hands? \nFriday\, June 19\, 2026 at 7pm\nSaturday\, June 20\, 2026 at 2pm and 7pm\nSunday\, June 21\, 2026 at 2pm\nCall (603)669-7469 to avoid online fees during Box Office hours (Tuesday through Friday from 9am-5pm). \nPRESENTED BY THE MAJESTIC PRODUCTIONS \n\n\nDIRECTED BY DR. ALAN KAPLAN / ASSISTED BY AIMEE BAKER \nCAST LIST:\nGeorge Milton – Jordan Gagan\nLennie Small – Declan Lynch\nCandy – Mike McKinnon\nThe Boss – John Wood\nCurley – Dusty Wood\nCurley’s Wife – Allison Sjolund\nSlim – Benjamin Neff\nCarlson – Sean Damboise\nWhit – Jeff Cznark\nCrooks – Keisha Venson \nCONTENT WARNING:\nOf Mice and Men was written in 1937 and explores how the system uses identity politics to separate and oppress us. It contains themes of discrimination based on race\, disability and gender and explores difficult topics relevant to the time period in which the play is set\, which still resonate today. The production stays true to the original script\, exposing the depths of the characters and inviting conversations around difficult topics set against the brutality of the time. \nThis production contains racial slurs\, depictions of violence and racism\, and reference to sexual abuse. Sensitive content includes topics that cover racism\, ableism\, sexism\, violence\, assault\, murder\, and death\, plus some language that will appear strong and offensive. \nThis show is not recommended for children under the age of 17. \nAlthough an important piece of classic literature\, with a story that is still relevant today\, we want to insure that our audiences are given the opportunity to make an informed decision whether they would like to experience this dramatic show.

SUMMARY:Always a Bridesmaid
DESCRIPTION:In this hilarious comedic romp\, four friends have sworn to keep the promise they made on the night of their Senior Prom: to be in each other’s weddings … no matter what. More than thirty years later\, these Southern friends-for-life are still making “the long walk” for each other\, determined to honor that vow. Libby Ruth\, the hopeful romantic with the perfect marriage\, believes – in spite of all evidence to the contrary – that her friends can find the very same happiness. Headstrong Deedra’s “rock-solid” union hangs by a thread when she discovers her husband of many years has not only a wandering eye but the hands to match. Monette\, flashy\, high-spirited and self-involved\, continues to test her friends’ love and patience with all-too-frequent trips down the aisle. And salt-of-the-earth\, tree-hugging Charlie discovers – the hard way – that marital bliss is not the end of her rainbow and panics in outrageous style when the opportunity presents itself. \nIf you’ve ever elbowed a stranger out of the way to catch a bride’s bouquet\, seriously questioned the mental stability of the duo saying “I do” or been forced to wear the world’s ugliest bridesmaid dress\, this deliriously funny JONES HOPE WOOTEN COMEDY is definitely for you … and your dearly beloved! \nFriday\, February 13\, 2026 at 7pm\nSaturday\, February 14\, 2026 at 2pm and 7pm\nSunday\, February 15\, 2026 at 2pm\nCall (603)669-7469 to avoid online fees during Box Office hours (Tuesday through Friday from 9am-5pm). \nPRESENTED BY THE MAJESTIC PRODUCTIONS \n\n\nDIRECTED BY A. Transporting audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus\, the Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant\, who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Horton must protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers\, and he must also guard an abandoned egg that’s been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird.  Although Horton faces ridicule\, danger and a trial\, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him.  Ultimately\, the powers of friendship\, loyalty\, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant! \nFriday\, January 23\, 2026 at 7pm\nSaturday\, January 24\, 2026 at 2pm and 7pm\n***SUNDAY’S SHOW HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO IMPENDING SNOW STORM***\nIf you have tickets to Sunday’s show please call (603)669-7469 (leave a message) or email karenb@majestictheatre.net. SUMMARY:Southern Fried Murder
DESCRIPTION:By Billy St. John / Way down south in Dixie\, there’s something rotten in the cotton! Wealthy family matriarch Magnolia Capote has summoned her kith and kin to dinner in a fancy restaurant to discuss her will. But when Mrs. Capote is killed with her walking stick\, mayhem ensues and her possible heirs become involved in a treasure hunt to interpret the encrypted will! The audience is totally involved in this mystery/comedy with one member actually recruited from the audience to play a small part\, (This character gets beat to death with a frozen chicken.) The roles spoof Tennessee Williams’ heroines\, Bette Davis in “Hush\, Hush\, Sweet Charlotte” characters from Tobacco Road\, Truman Capote\, and other denizens of the Deep South. \nFriday\, October 31\, 2025 at 7pm\nSaturday\, November 1\, 2025 at 2pm and 7pm\nSunday\, November 2\, 2025 at 2pm\nCall (603)669-7469 to avoid online fees during Box Office hours (Tuesday through Friday from 9am-5pm). \nPRESENTED BY THE MAJESTIC PRODUCTIONS (Adults) \n\n\nDIRECTED BY BECKY RUSH / ASSISTED BY KRYSTAL TIMINSKI

SUMMARY:The Norman Conquests: LIVING TOGETHER
DESCRIPTION:by Alan Ayckbourn / This classic comedy follows charming\, compulsive philanderer Norman and five other characters over one weekend at a country house in England. The play explores the interwoven lives of three couples dealing with themes of love\, infidelity\, and personal aspiration. The narrative centers around Annie\, who grapples with her feelings for Norman\, the husband of her sister Ruth\, while also interacting with her brother-in-law Reg and the socially awkward veterinarian Tom. Although part of a trilogy of connected stories\, “Living Together” stands alone as it’s own adventure! \nAnnie\, the Cinderella of the family\, lives in the shabby Victorian vicarage type house where the family was brought up. Reg\, her brother\, and his wife Sarah come to stay for a week end so that she may go away for a “rest”. The general idea is that Annie ought to pair off with Tom. But for this week end it is Norman\, the raffish assistant librarian husband of Annie’s sister Ruth\, with whom she planned to go. They were to meet secretly but Norman turns up early. When Annie calls the whole thing off Norman decides to stay on at the house and gets roaring drunk. \nThe show is a traditional British farce. It mixes fast paced-dialogue and physical humor with more dramatic moments in a way that keeps the audience on their toes. Norman is having an affair. Everyone knows it. He doesn’t care. In fact\, not many people seem too bothered by it and\, if they are\, their objections are quickly followed by hilarity.\nWinner! 2009 Tony® Award for Best Revival of a Play\, 2009 Drama Desk Award for Best Revival of a Play\, 2009 Outer Critics Circle Outstanding Revival of a Play \nFriday\, August 8\, 2025 at 7pm\nSaturday\, August 9\, 2025 at 2pm and 7pm\nSunday\, August 10\, 2025 at 2pm\nCall (603)669-7469 to avoid online fees during Box Office hours (Tuesday through Friday from 9am-5pm). \nPRESENTED BY THE MAJESTIC PRODUCTIONS (Adults) \n\n\nDIRECTED BY GREG PARKER / ASSISTED BY MEREDITH COMPAGNA \n \n\n  \nCAST:\n\nNatashia Da Cunha-Lunde as Annie\nLarry Watson as Reg\nValerie Kdonian Kehr as Sarah\nKevin Baringer as Norman\nKat Abdelwahid as Ruth\nBen Dick as Tom

SUMMARY:JOSEPH & the AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT
DESCRIPTION:Music by Andrew Lloyd Webber\, Lyrics by Tim Rice / “Sha la la\, Joseph\, you’re doing fine! You and your dreamcoat\, ahead of your time!” One of the most enduring shows of all time\, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is a reimagining of the Biblical story of Joseph\, his father Jacob\, eleven brothers and the coat of many colors. Told entirely through song with the help of a main character Narrator\, the musical follows preferred son Joseph. After being sold into slavery by his brothers\, he ingratiates himself with Egyptian noble Potiphar\, but ends up in jail after refusing the amorous advances of Potiphar’s wife. While imprisoned\, Joseph discovers his ability to interpret dreams\, and he soon finds himself in front of the mighty but troubled\, Elvis-inspired\, Pharaoh. Joseph’s solution to Egypt’s famine elevates him to Pharaoh’s right-hand man and reunites him with his family. The magical musical is full of catchy songs in a variety of styles\, from a parody of French ballads (“Those Canaan Days”)\, to country-western (“One More Angel in Heaven”) and calypso (“Benjamin Calypso”)\, along with the unforgettable classics “Any Dream Will Do” and “Close Every Door.” Appropriate for all audiences and groups\, Joseph is performed hundreds of times a year by schools across North America\, the U.K. and around the world. \nFriday\, July 11\, 2025 at 7pm\nSaturday\, July 12\, 2025 at 2pm and 7pm\nSunday\, July 13\, 2025 at 2pm\n  \nCAST LIST: \nNarrator – Nicole Jones\nJoseph – Jack Downey\nJacob – Jordan Easley\nReuben – Jean-Claude Deslauriers\nSimeon – Jonathan Wisco\nLevi – David Kennedy\nNaphtali – Noah Lyons\nIssachar – Brian MacHarrie\nAsher – Stephen Addiss\nDan – Jonathan Kaplan\nZebulon – Matthias Whitney\nGad – Jonah Rivers\nBenjamin – Duncan Caron\nJudah – Liam Hodge \nPotiphar – Angelo Gentile of the Rockin’ Daddios (Friday evening\, Saturday matinee)\nPotiphar – Bruce Williams (Saturday evening\, Sunday matinee) \nMrs. Potiphar – Valerie Weber\nPharoah – Jonathan Flower \nWives/Ensemble: Heidi Richmond-Allen\, Kristin Grant\, Lauren Friedman\, Ally Holmes\, Ava Dittbenner\, Abigayle Majore\, Sarah Rocha\, Kelsey Sweet\, Krystal Timinski\, Valerie Weber\, Andrea Younie \nEnsemble: Kim Dittbenner\, Karen McGraw\, Meara McGraw \nYouth Ensemble: Heidi Caron\, Magdalena Easley\, Lucia Rocha\, Charlotte Tolson\, Elise Ducas\, Olivia Sayhood\, Aidan McGinley \nCall (603)669-7469 to avoid online fees during Box Office hours (Tuesday through Friday from 9am-5pm). \nPRESENTED BY THE MAJESTIC PRODUCTIONS (Adults) \n\n\nDIRECTED BY JEFF CARON / MUSICAL DIRECTION BY A. SUMMARY:GEORGE WASHINGTON SLEPT HERE
DESCRIPTION:By Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman / The story chronicles the trials and tribulations of Newton Fuller who craves—and gets—”a little place in the country to call his own.” Newton and his wife\, Annabell\, and their daughter\, Madge\, are hypnotized into taking over one of those windowless\, waterless\, almost roofless houses that dot the countryside. The ensuing troubles may be summed up by a search for water\, a quarrel with a neighbor who owns not only the brook but the very road that leads from the highway to the house\, the attempted elopement of the daughter with a summer-theatre actor\, and the usual invasion of the weekend guests\, including a prodigal uncle who is assumed to be rich but turns out to be just another bankrupt. It is discovered that the neighbor really doesn’t own Newton’s roadway\, and that Newton’s wife\, who began by showing disgust over her husband’s idiocy in wanting to live in the country\, decides that he was right all along. \nFriday\, June 20\, 2025 at 7pm\nSaturday\, June 21\, 2025 at 2pm and 7pm\nSunday\, June 22\, 2025 at 2pm\nCall (603)669-7469 to avoid online fees during Box Office hours (Tuesday through Friday from 9am-5pm). \nPRESENTED BY THE MAJESTIC PRODUCTIONS (Adults) \n\n\nDIRECTED BY JOE PELONZI / ASSISTED BY AIMEE BAKER

SUMMARY:The EMPERORS NEW CLOTHES - The Musical
DESCRIPTION:Book by Karen Boettcher-Tate\, Music & Lyrics by Bill Francoeur / The kingdom of Glump has been falling apart ever since the pampered emperor became wrapped up in his tasteless wardrobe!  Not only is he a big-headed clothes-aholic\, his three ’lovely’ daughters are quickly becoming chips off the old blockhead.  Enter two con artists\, Wart and Hog\, who devise their ingenious plan for fleecing the emperor.  Naturally\, everyone pretends to ’see’ the magic cloth\, until the emperor’s serving boy covers him up at the parade\, laying bare the facts:  the emperor has no clothes on!  The serving boy’s honesty is contagious\, and the emperor has quite a revelation.  He’s been blind to his own selfishness — and nakedness! — until this fateful day.  But make way for one more hilarious scene in which his daughters\, who haven’t heard the news\, appear in their underwear\, too!  (Tastefully done\, we promise!)  As the girls angrily chase Wart and Hog offstage\, the emperor vows to his people that he will not only keep his underwear under wraps\, but he will reform his ways…  and his daughters!  The naked truth has never been funnier! \nFriday\, May 16\, 2025 at 7pm\nSaturday\, May 17\, 2025 at 2pm and 7pm\nSunday\, May 18\, 2025 at 2pm\nCall (603)669-7469 to avoid online fees during Box Office hours (Tuesday through Friday from 9am-5pm). \nPRESENTED BY THE MAJESTIC ACADEMY OF DRAMATIC ARTS (YOUTH/TEENS) \n\n\nDIRECTED BY BECKY RUSH \nCAST LIST:\nAaron the Minstrel – Elise Ducas \nEmperor Plumptoe – Alice Ouellette \nEmpress Plumptoe – Julie Manfra \nPookie – Brynn Susi \nKootchie – Lucia Rocha \nSnookie – Olivia Sayhood \nJeremy – Brison Spinney \nTrudy – Tilda Henry-Hughes \nMr. Wart – Harper Morin \nMr. Hog – Thomas Rocha \nSgt.
