AUDITION: BRITISH INVASION 2

After last year’s sold out performance of “The British Invasion” we just HAD to continue the fun! BRITISH INVASION II – 1970s and Beyond will continue where we left off as we present the second decade (and beyond) of British artists that have shaped American music as we know it. Join us for a night celebrating their music as our performers put their spin on some of these classic and memorable songs.

A COMMUNITY EVENT presented by MAJESTIC THEATRE and TED HERBERT’S MUSIC SCHOOL

PERFORMANCE: SATURDAY, JANUARY 11, 2025 at the Majestic Studio Theatre

GENERAL INFORMATION:

• Open to all ages
• All acts are welcome – musicians, singers, dancers, comedians, etc – as long as there is a BRITISH INVASION connection or angle, we are interested in possibly including you.
• Although we will focus on 1970’s and beyond, you MAY perform British Invasion songs and artists from pre-1970.
• Need song/artist ideas? Click HERE for a list of potential British Invasion artists.
• This is a community event presented by The Majestic Theatre and Ted Herbert’s Music School and Rentals; performers are not paid.
• Performers must commit to the performance on Saturday, January 11th -AND- a Dress Rehearsal on Thursday, January 9th at 6pm.
• UPDATED: Performers must also commit to one additional rehearsal (online) the week before the show.

HOW TO AUDITION:

• If you prefer an in-person or streamed audition you may schedule one by emailing rob@majestictheatre.net to set up a time.
• Audition deadline is Friday, December 20, 2024 and selected performers will be notified by December 26, 2024.
